« Ils ont échangé mon enfant » s’inspire de l’histoire vraie et bouleversante de Sophie Serrano. En 2004, elle fait l’objet d’une contestation de paternité par le père de sa fille Manon. Les tests ADN vont révéler l’impensable : Manon n’est pas leur fille. Elle a été échangée à la maternité, dix ans plus tôt avec un autre bébé.

Tout en essayant de protéger Manon totalement terrorisée par cette annonce, Sophie cherche et retrouve son enfant biologique, Mathilde. Elle se trouve alors face à un dilemme : lutter pour ne pas perdre à nouveau Mathilde ou se consacrer totalement à Manon que ce drame a plongée dans le chaos...
