Even a harmless and innocent pot can explode, if you leave it on the heat. And it’s this heat that’s gradually warming up the posterior of Ambroise Fridelance, failed illustrator specialising in the covers of cheap paperbacks, a dour, harmless and pusillanimous young man, lumbered with a pragmatic wife and a dishonest employer. Ambroise thinks he can get his head back above water by selling a family heirloom, a priceless designer stool, and soon finds himself caught up in the inner dealings of the world of auction sales.

Well and truly caught up! And in the artdealer milieu, with S/M bondage on one side and African curses on the other, his vengeance will be terrible! And talking of heat… the fires of hell are getting closer.

Ce même feu qui chauffe peu à peu les fondements d’Ambroise Fridelance, illustrateur raté, spécialisé dans les couvertures de romans à deux sous, gentil, sérieux et pusillanime jeune homme, affublé d’une épouse pragmatique et d’un employeur indélicat. Ambroise qui pense se remettre à flots en vendant un familial mais inestimable tabouret design et qui met le doigt dans l’engrenage des ventes aux enchères. Pas que le doigt ! Dans les milieux des marchands d’Art, du bondage SM aux maléfices africains, sa vengeance sera terrible… Et à propos de feu, celui de l’enfer n’est pas loin...
