Following the discovery of a murdered man on the small deserted island of Tintamarre off the coast of Saint-Martin, Captain Tom Firmain is forced to work with Inspector Merlene Van de Voort of the Dutch police, with whom he has an old feud. An investigation intertwining the legendary world of pirates and the mythology of the Garifunas (descendants of the Caribbean Indians and slaves), in which our two detectives must solve the case and thwart a reckless scheme

Suite à la découverte d’un homme assassiné sur la petite île déserte de Tintamarre au large de Saint-Martin, le Capitaine Tom Firmain est obligé de travailler avec l’inspectrice Merlene Van de Voort de la police Hollandaise avec qui il a un vieux contentieux. Au terme d’une enquête entre l’univers légendaire des pirates et la mythologie des Garifunas (les descendants des Indiens Caraïbes et des esclaves), nos deux policiers vont résoudre l’affaire et faire échouer un projet insensé.
