WOKE – XAOC, a new season of WOKE, the series created by Sullivan Le Postec, in which Thibaut saves a Chechen refugee from a nearly fatal trap, and in the process discovers a trial programme for human rights protection which has provided shelter for several people in Europe. Hicham returns to his tower-block neighbourhood in Saint Étienne after a relative is killed in a fight with the police.

Both are in a race against time. Thibaut has to discover the mole inside the European institutions in order to save the lives of those protected by the European programme, while Hicham has to reveal the truth about his cousin’s death and fight the fake news about the case, which is spreading and threatening their actions.

This new season focuses on the concept of the group and how this is constructed from individuals. We follow our characters a few months after Thibaut’s re-election as president of Point G. Thibaut finds himself at the very heart of the major project of our era: European development. At the same time, Hicham commits to a public fight against police brutality. To succeed, he will have to face not just the tough neighbourhood in which he grew up, but also his own family.

LES ENGAGÉS - XAOC, Une nouvelle saison des ENGAGÉS, créée par Sullivan Le Postec, où Thibaut, en secourant un refugié Tchétchène d’un piège qui aurait pu être mortel, va découvrir un programme pilote d’accueil et de protection des droits de l’homme, qui a permis de mettre à l’abri plusieurs personnes en Europe ; où Hicham retourne à Saint Etienne, dans sa cité, suite au décès d’un proche dans une altercation avec la police.

Tous deux nous emmènent dans une course contre la montre : sauver de la mort les protégés du programme Européen en découvrant la taupe au sein même des Instances Européennes pour Thibaut ; faire éclater la vérité pour Hicham sur la mort de son cousin et sur les fakes news qui ont circulées sur ce sujet et qui entravent leurs actions.

Pour cette nouvelle saison nous interrogeons sur la notion de groupe et de construction du groupe face aux individualités. Nous suivrons nos personnages quelques mois après la réélection de Thibaut à la présidence au Point G. Thibaut se trouvera au cœur du grand projet collectif de notre temps, la construction européenne. Tandis qu’Hicham s’engagera dans un combat collectif face à une affaire de violences policières. Il devra pour cela faire face à la cité où il a grandi, et à sa famille.
