A psychiatrist and a police officer try to prove the innocence of a man suffering from amnesia.

Richard Modine is struck by amnesia after sustaining a terrible accident. Inspector Corey accuses him of brutally murdering a young student with whom he had an affair. Raphaelle, his psychiatrist, is convinced of his innocence and conducts her own investigation with the help of Cyril Mandel, Modine’s Lawyer. She falls in love with Inspector Corey, only to realize that he himself was one of the victim’s lovers…

With her patient claiming his innocence and a cop looking suspicious, Raphaelle doubts are compounded when the lawyer becomes the next suspect.

Of the three men involved, who is the murderer ? And who will attempt to kill Raphaelle when she gets to close to the truth ?

Richard Modine est victime d’amnésie après un terrible accident. L’inspecteur Corey l’accuse d’avoir sauvagement assassiné une jeune étudiante avec qui il avait eu une liaison. Raphaëlle, sa psychanalyste est convaincue de son innocence et mène, de ce fait, sa propre enquête avec l’aide de Cyril Mandel, l’avocat de Richard. Elle tombe cependant amoureuse de l’inspecteur Corey et elle réalise alors que lui même avait également un liaison avec l’une des victimes…

Raphaëlle commence dès lors à douter lorsque l’avocat devient lui même, suspect.

De ces trois hommes, qui est le meurtrier ? Et qui s'apprête à tuer Raphaëlle lorsque celle-ci sera trop proche de la vérité ?
