Match day
A small French town is devastated by the murder of a football supporter in the stands during a match.  Alex, a local girl but also a cop, leads the investigation, seeking answers at the heart of her town, her family and their passion for football.

Alexandra Perrucci is a young detective very familiar with the ardour of Arcanville, the working-class neighbourhood whose heart beats for the local football club.  She grew up among the supporters, her father has been the club's coach for the last thirty years, and her younger sister, Mathilde, is a mainstay of the supporters' club. But Alexandra broke away from this fanaticism, blaming it for tearing her family apart in the past. Somewhere between « Mystic River » and « My Name is Joe », « Match Day » is a lucid crime story, bringing together football frenzy, small-town politics and the inner turmoils of the people concerned.
